Sherwood Is Home. It Always Has Been.
Deep Roots. Proven Leadership. A Strong Future for Sherwood.
Rooted in Sherwood. Invested in its future.
April Ford Broderick's roots in Sherwood run deep. Born and raised in Sherwood, she attended Sherwood schools from Oakbrook Elementary to Sylvan Hills High School and is a proud graduate of the Class of 1999. Her family's connection to Sherwood spans for generations. April's father graduated from Sylvan Hills in 1972, and her son continued the family tradition as a member of the Class of 2022. Three generations of Sylvan Hills graduates and a proud legacy of Bear pride!Sherwood is more than the city April calls home. It is where she grew up, where she and her family built a business, and where she raised her own family. Her investment in this community is personal because she has lived its story, watched it grow, and understands what make Sherwood such a unique place to call home. That lifelong connection to Sherwood is what led April to serve her community on the Sherwood City Council and what continues to motivate her today. She is proud of the work that has been accomplished, committed to the people she represents, and ready to continue working for the future of the city she has always called home.
